报告摘要：

在“大众创业，万众创新”的时代背景下，如何把科学技术转化为有效生产力，是大学生面临的重大机遇和挑战。以“硅谷”为代表的北美高科技领域创新创业活动，引领了全球创新与商业应用的发展。这些高科技项目是如何从创意走向产品原型？如何得到投资界认可？如何成功孵化？科技给企业带来投资价值，资本为科技产业带来繁荣。该报告讲述过去十多年来，北美地区科技创新创业的发展变化，借鉴北美的成熟发展经验，帮助我们探索科技成果转化的落地新模式。

Report Abstract:

In the age of "mass entrepreneurship, innovation for all", how to turn technology into productivity is a great opportunity and challenge for college students. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship activities in the high-tech field in North America, represented by "Silicon Valley", have led the development of global innovation and business applications. How do these high-tech projects move from creativity to product prototypes? How to win the enthusiasm from the investors? How to successfully hatch a project? Technology brings investment value to enterprises, and capital brings prosperity to the development of science and technology. The report describes the development and change of innovation and entrepreneurship in North America over the past decade. Drawing on the mature development experience of North America, it will help us to explore new models of transforming scientific and technological achievements into business values.

主讲人简介：

Ray Walia是一位连续创业家，他在娱乐和科技领域有着20余年的丰富经验。在温哥华创立了领先国际的创业机构启动学院（Launch Academy），该机构孵化了700多家的初创企业，并筹集了超过2.5亿美元的资金，同时该机构也是加拿大创业签证计划的指定提供商。

Ray和他的合伙人一同创立了胜利广场和Launch.vc，这两家合资企业建立了专注于体育和娱乐技术公司发展的工作室。Ray为北美技术生态系统的发展做出了突出的贡献，并通过创业机构启动学院（Launch Academy）的枫叶计划，给大量的企业家带来了可持续和可融资的帮助，其中包括30多家跨国企业。

The Profile ofRay Walia:

Ray is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment and technology sectors. Ray founded Launch Academy, Vancouver’s leading entrepreneurship facility, which has incubated more than 700 startups that have raised over $250 Million in funding. Launch Academy is a designated provider for the Canadian Startup Visa Program. Ray co-founded Victory Square and Launch.vc, two venture build studios with a focus on sports and entertainment technology companies. Ray was named Entrepreneur Mentor of the Year for 2014 and 2015, BIV Top Forty Under 40, G20 Young Entrepreneur, and BC Tech Person of The Year Finalist 2018.

Ray has contributed towards the development of the technology ecosystem in North America and has assisted countless entrepreneurs in building sustainable and finance-able businesses, including over 30 international companies through Launch Academy’s Maple program. Ray has hosted and run events that have been attended by international dignitaries and ambassadors, the Canadian Prime Minister, CEOs and Founders of Fortune 100 companies with the most recent being the TractionConf.io event in both Vancouver and San Francisco.
